Spring Flower Show 2025

At the Cornwall Garden Society Spring Flower Show, we combine all the traditional values of the Show’s 100+ year history and its world-class exhibits of camellias, rhododendrons, magnolias and daffodils with the latest thinking from some of the most inspiring people in horticulture.

In 2024, we attracted more than 5,000 visitors to our annual showcase at The Royal Cornwall Showground near Wadebridge by offering them the opportunity to seek advice from the County’s finest nurserymen and women, be inspired by some exciting new ways to garden, and purchase unique items from some of Cornwall’s finest makers and artisans. With delicious food for thought and a real buzz around springtime, seasoned experts, enthusiastic novices, friends and families had a thoroughly enjoyable time celebrating all things horticultural. We also introduced many new features – such as Tipi Talks, a Grow Your Own area and an immersive Cornish show garden – and the glowing feedback we received was more, more, more!

In 2025, on Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th April, we will be delivering precisely that, and we cannot wait to share all the details with you.

Please revisit this page in the coming weeks as we reveal our plans for a festival of springtime like no other!

In the meantime, we are delighted to confirm the following:

Show Gardens… Spaces for Wellbeing

Four uniquely different show gardens will be presented by some of Cornwall’s most renowned garden designers, who we will set the challenge to create ‘A Place to Heal’. Not only will visitors be able to immerse themselves within these special spaces and take inspiration from their designs and planting. These glorious gardens will also have a lasting legacy because they will be rebuilt after the Show to provide healing spaces for Cornish communities and connect them with nature.

Tipi Talks… Sharing Knowledge

In 2026, we will be bringing the warmth and comfort of more cosy tipis to The Royal Cornwall Showground, where visitors will be able to engage in fireside chats with some of the most passionate gardeners, environmentalists and designers from Cornwall and beyond, treat themselves to the latest gardening titles from our pop-up bookshop and enjoy Cornish cream teas and delicious homemade cakes.

Growing Your Own… Gardening Sustainably

Learn how to grow your own edibles at our mini allotment with support from the Lost Gardens of Heligan team. Whether you have grown veg before or are a complete newbie, showgoers will be able to learn how to become more self-sufficient, grow delicious food and feel healthier for being closer to nature.

We will also be creating a new Sustainability Hub in 2025, supported by the Eden Project. Here, innovative ideas will be shared around how to grow things in an environmentally-friendly way as well as tips on how to live better. Plants nurtured at Eden will be available to purchase for the home.

Nurturing Nature… Connecting Communities

Activities and workshops for young people will highlight how taking time out in nature inspires calm and a sense of wellbeing. By buying a weekend pass – another new feature for this year – they can hang out with friends, listen to some music and have a bite to eat, safe in the knowledge that everyone is feeling enriched and inspired.

Whilst operational costs have increased exponentially in recent years, we strive to keep the ticket price low to encourage the widest levels of engagement across Cornwall’s diverse communities.

We are committed to celebrating the horticultural excellence for which Cornwall is renowned, to maintaining and nurturing the interest of the thousands of visitors who annually attend, to supporting local businesses and good causes, and to keeping the Show relevant for our times.

To that end, we aim to offer something different every year and having listened to what our previous visitors have said they would like to see, we are making bold plans for 2025 to include fresh features and increased interactivity.

People of Cornwall, please join us at this fabulous family weekend event that celebrates all things horticultural in springtime!
