We are gearing up for our annual Spring Flower Show on Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th April 2025 at The Royal Cornwall Showground near Wadebridge, and we need your help!

Whether you can spare a few hours, or are available for an entire day, we would love to have you join our amazing team of volunteers who set up, help to run and then dismantle the Show.

During set-up week (Monday 31st March to Friday 4th April), we are always on the lookout for people to help with carpentry and draping to create the staging for the Competitive Classes, mark out pitches for exhibitors, and run general errands.

On the day before and during the two days of the Show, we would love help from people who are happy to meet and greet exhibitors, or staff the plant crèche or catering stand.

During the two days of the Show, we also need volunteers on the gates to sell tickets; help with the car parking or act as runners for the Stewards and Judges.

At the end of the Show, we are always glad to have help with taking it all down and tidying it away for next year.

Everyone who helps will gain free entry to the Show on the day they are on duty, or on a nominated day if they have helped in the setting up and/or dismantling periods.

We will need people to volunteer for a minimum of 2 x 2 hour sessions on any given day. There is no limit to the number of sessions you can volunteer for and mileage expenses will be paid.

There are plenty of tasks and we are always grateful for help. We have a great crowd of friendly people who volunteer every year, so you will be in good company but as we grow the Show, we need more!

Tools and equipment are provided where necessary and you don’t have to be a member of the Cornwall Garden Society to volunteer. There will also be plenty of tea and cake to keep you well-refreshed!
