We encourage you to set your membership payment and renewal up through Direct Debit as it minimises administration time and helps keep memberships costs down. On submission of this form you will be redirected to our confirmation and payment details page.

The Society can claim tax from the Government if you are a UK taxpayer or in receipt of a personal pension. It will cost you nothing and the Society could claim up to 25p per pound of your subscription. Gift Aid Form

Membership Categories

The membership year runs from 1st January to 31st December.

(Gift memberships run from the date of purchase for twelve months.)

Individual: £22.50 per annum

Family (two members of a household): £30 per annum

Additional members of a household can be added at an additional cost of £4 per person, per annum.

Student (in full-time education): £15 per annum

Life: £450

Affiliated Society: £22.50 per annum

Includes two membership cards for use by any of the Affiliated Society’s members; CGS Gold and Silver Medal certificates to award at the Affiliated Society’s shows, and access to a Speakers’ List that we update annually

Trade: £27.50 per annum

Professional horticulturists who join as Trade members are given priority in the allocation of space for trade exhibits at the CGS Spring Flower Show and two free exhibitor passes.

Terms and Conditions

The Cornwall Garden Society is delighted to welcome new members at any time of year. Membership is renewable annually on 1st January, irrespective of the month of the year in which you join (unless you are purchasing a Gift membership, in which case, it will run for 12 months from the date of payment). Upon receipt of your completed application form and the appropriate payment, we will post your welcome pack, which will include a membership card that will be valid until 31st December in the year in which you join (or, in the case of a Gift membership for 12 months from the date of payment). We will also email you a sign-up form, which will enable you to subscribe to the digital newsletters that we circulate via Mailchimp.

Renewal of your membership will take place annually on 1st January by Direct Debit. New members will receive a Direct Debit mandate in their welcome pack for completion and return to the Membership Secretary. We will write to you each December to remind you that we will be collecting your subscription to renew your membership on 1st January by Direct Debit unless you instruct us not to do so.
