Beyond thriller, spiller and filler: a practical look at mixed container gardening from compost and propagation, to season-long impact. A guide to the annual, perennials, climbers an bulbs that have made Edward’s pots tick. Lots of experimental failures and a few successes along the way!

Ed Flint describes himself as a true ‘hands-on’ gardener. He is the Head Gardener for a private family garden on the Kent / Sussex border. The garden includes extensive Mixed Plantings, Woodlands, Meadows, Vegetables and Cut Flowers.

His previous experience includes designing and building gardens across the UK and Europe after an informal but hugely informative apprenticeship at Great Dixter and Washfield Nursery, under the tutelage of Christopher Lloyd and Elizabeth Strangman.

He is an experienced lecturer with an extensive range of subjects and his talk promises to be refreshing, informative and entertaining.
