Visitors to the 2025 Spring Flower Show

Join the Team and help make this year’s Show a blooming success. Planning for the much-anticipated Spring Show is well underway and after the success of last year, we have great plans to produce yet another fantastic event. Every year, we rely on the dedication and enthusiasm of our great team of volunteer Stewards to make this event the success it is and a delightful celebration of horticultural excellence and community spirit in Cornwall. It gets the gardening calendar started with such a fanfare and we would like you to be part of it.

Free Tickets for all our Stewards

In recognition of the great work all our volunteer Stewards do, we give everyone who helps a free ticket to the Show for either day.  In return, we ask that you volunteer to help out for at least a morning or afternoon. Most slots are in the week before the Show; there are some on the weekend and then we need all hands on deck for the Monday afterwards to clear it all away!

Volunteering at the Spring Show is a fantastic opportunity to meet fellow garden enthusiasts and play an essential role in one of Cornwall’s most cherished spring events.

Roles Available:

  • Show Set-Up and Take-Down: Assist with building and arranging displays; setting up tables and packing away at the end of the show.
  • Stewarding Exhibitors and Traders: Guide visitors, answer questions, and help ensure everyone has a pleasant and safe experience.
  • Stewarding Judges: Taking notes and assisting the judges as they review all the entries
  • Refreshments: Help serve teas, coffees, and cakes to fellow volunteers.
  • Plant Creche/Membership Stand: Help look after plants or sell membership during the Show
  • Ticketing: Greet guests on arrival and help with ticket sales and entry management.

Who Can Volunteer?

Absolutely any adults, members and non-members! No previous experience is necessary—just a positive attitude and a willingness to get involved. We provide a hot meal at lunchtime, delicious refreshments and pay all reasonable travel expenses.
